My DH hasn't gotten paid for the job he's working on....guy promised a check by Fed Ex tomorrow........pray that it comes!

This economy is driving me batty I think! Today I struggled with wanting to go out and spend just b/c I was stressed.I resisted except buying 20.00 dinner for the family....believe me I wanted to do much more!

Are finances driving you crazy too lately?

Hang in there, I will be praying for you that the check will come in soon! Yes, the economy is causing a lot of us to go batty! I spent a little too much this week for our family eating out! Not too much damage, have to reel myself in and get a grip! Hubby can really get me off track and it's like I have to snap out of it!

Anyway, bills are paid, no more credit usage (they are all paid off)now we need to stick better to our budget. Hang in there all of us are in the same boat!

Great topic.

To sum up my view on all this...TIRED! I am just plain tired. I feel like I get up, go to work, come home and work some more, fix supper, help with homework, go to bed, get up again and start all over. There is nothing happy on the news any more, it is all about the recession and people killing each other and robbing each other. I just don't see when this will all end. I thought it would end when I paid off my last credit card (Apr 09 hopefully) but then I am going to be in savings mode....still no money to have fun with.

It has to get better right?

Yes that is a good way to describe it.

It just seems so endless. Its like I take two steps forward and 1.5 back. If things would just stop coming up I could get out of this hole so much faster. The weather is crappy and everyone I know has gone away this year but me! Not fair!

I hope to be out of debt by next year or sooner. I have a 12 year old with not a penny saved for university and a nine year old in the same boat. (awesome job Marie on the 10k!!). I don't plan on paying for their whole education but I would like to at least help. Their dad can help too. Plus they will have to get some student loans and work too. Or at least that is what I will encourage. We have bf's student loans to worry about. So as soon as my debt is gone we can concentrate more on savings and his student loans. Need a newer car(probably two). Oh it is just endless! I would love to build a house in the next 4-5 years but with all the things I just mentioned I'm lucky if it will be within 10years!!

Booo, I just depressed myself!
