I held off on a course . . .

even though I really really really really wanted to do it, lol.
I love animals and really feel that I should have done SOMETHING animal related for a career. In a perfect (dream) world, I would get to move outside the city and open a dog boarding kennel. I know the chances of this happening are slim to none but I would love it.
Anyways, I was messing around on the internet yesterday and found a course offered by a local college that teaches animal grooming. Its a month long (weekend course) that teaches the basics (with your own dog . . . mine would love it!). I really really want to take it, it for nothing else then grooming my own two. I also was thinking that I could start up a parttime gig going to people's homes to groom their pets. Nothing serious, just something I could do on the side evenings and weekends.
The course is $630. :(
I could have taken money out of my tax refund to do it, but decided if I do something like this, I want to start on good footing and save for everything with cash. I am guessing this course will be open again in the summer so I can do it then, but I am impatient, lol.
I guess this shows that I am progressing from the days of just jumping head first into things .
