All the little bills....

When in the world did they all start adding up to so much? Jeez.

My DH kicked some A$$ last month and is bringing in an awesome overtime check. Hopefully it should be about $1600. I have that spent already and it totally saddens me!

Medical (son's hospitalization in August) $250

Medical $43

Dental (sons dentist) $101

Taxes (we go Saturday - estimated price) $300

Car payment $325

Association dues $110

AT&T $110

Life insurance $102 (3 months)

Pool pass $140

c/c $200 (would like to make a $200 payment)

The pool can wait until next month. I was just thinking it would be so great if we could throw $500 on the c/c. How come that never seems to happen!?!?!?!? GRRRR.

You know you could cut down on that tax bill by doing it yourself with Turbo Tax.

Hi Marie,

I have considered it but DH insists we got to this tax guy that knows about his work deductions. I don't know. I am not good with math and I would be skittish about doing it myself. Last year we paid $258 but I estimated $300 on the high side for taxes. I do have the money in savings but I'd rather use it out of our checking and my DH's overtime then use up savings for that.

I was wondering why you would be using an overtime check to pay regular bills. Can your budget not pay the HOA or car payment?

Fair question.

I am paying these bills early. My car payment isn't due yet for another month. I prefer to pay things a month early especially if my DH gets good overtime. I don't HAVE to pay my assoc dues or my car payment right now. I would like to though b/c I know his OT will end soon.

at least you don't have to charge this stuff!! And it sounds like you will have some breathing room after it is all said and done. Way to go!
