About the time DH thinks this new job (that came looking for him because of a personal referral) has hit a stalling point because of the economy, he gets a conference call yesterday morning from the VP.

It's so horrible when you're waiting on a decision and it takes forever! It took us months to hear about Dh's job a few years ago and we were on pins and needles the whole time, trying not to get excited, but truly hoping he got the job. He had to go in for 3 interviews!

Best of luck the position he really wants offers first!! And if he stays with the current job, I would push to have his cell phone bill included in(on top of) the salary since they have a hard time paying expenses on time or at all. Just a thought.

They ran a survey with employees last week on line.

OH I hope he gets the new one. The current ones sound kind of clueless. I would never treat my staff that way.

No new ideas for the store. It is seasonal though so I did bring in a bunch of ice cream which people are excited about and seem to be selling some more beer LOL. Sales should pick up with in a month and I will be back on track. I just have to watch things pretty closely and it should be fine.

Thanks for asking.

Dh and I are firm believers in not looking back.
