I want to cry!!!!

So after coming so far and having my CC balance so low . . . it went right back up. I want to cry.

Some of you may have read my post about spending the $630 for my grooming course. I had a hard time doing it, but since spring is the busiest time for groomers, I may be able to recoup some of that fairly quickly. I put it on a separate CC that I paid off years ago and am going to use that for "business" expenses. I get the rent money April 1, so I was going to put $630 of it on the CC right away in order to pay it off. No problems. It just meant that I would only pay down the CC by about $250 that month.

Last night I went to get a prescription filled. What I didn't realize is that my doc ordered a different kind (double dose). In reality it will save me money in the long run as I can cut the pills in half (already got the pharmacists permission to do so) AND he ordered me a 3 month supply. The result . . . $800!!!!

In total my CC is back up to $2900!!!!!!

I need to take a breath! I need to stop panicking because I will get reimbursed for some of the $800, I just don't know how much (the most is $640 if they accept it fully -

Don't cry, it's sounds like you have a lot of the balance covered in the end.

Deep breaths! You now have a second career ,this dog grooming, as a source of income. With rent you are doing ok. Advertise your little heart out that you are a groomer and make some money. And don't forget you don't have to buy those pills for a long time so you will have money from each paycheq you put in your little ING account you can put to the cc or other things. This is just a change, and I think a good one, no need for tears. Don't let the number scare you.

On a serious note, I have 2 doggies that need grooming (one more than the other, he's a sheppard/lab/husky mix too hard for me to deal with) if you're in the GTA you have a definite customer :)

Thank you all for your kind words. They really meant a lot. Yesterday was panic mode . . . today my head is clearer.

I spoke with the lady in charge of our benefits and she said I will be fully covered for my prescription (which is 80%). As long as its prescribed by the doctor, even it its outside indication, its covered. That took a HUGE weight off my shoulders. I should be getting about $640 back.

My plan of attack is to send everything extra I have to the Amex that holds the course charge to get it paid off (I guess its now my work card, hehehe). I already sent $100 so the balance is $530. I have a reimbursement for $75 coming this week and I transferred $140 from my other savings so I should get it close to $300. When the reimbursement for my big prescription comes in, I will use the first $300 to pay it off and the rest will go to my other CC.

I left the money in my efund. If the plan is covering most of the cost, transferring money from other savings and my copay savings covers the $160 I need to pay. I feel better having the $600 there just in case.

Thanks again ladies. Its so great to have you here to be my voice of reason when I am in a panic!
