Thinking of you.....I think you have a good outlook and it will serve you well in the days ahead.

Hope the good news that usually follows something bad comes soon!

Have him to check into unemployment for that week that might be due to him. Since it is a full week. I am sorry to say I do not remember if you guys have kids or not but if you do I would also check into his tax deductions also and see if he can get more back on the weeks he is working.

Put in an add to do odd jobs on Craigs list That might be something he can do on the weeks he is off also

Good luck to you guys

Sorry to hear that. Is it possible that he can collect unemployment during those weeks that his mill is shut down? My husbands work did that with the rosary bead ladies. They laid them off for 2 weeks, hired them back for 2 weeks.. they collected unemployment during the time that they were laid off. I'm sure everything will work out ok.

I'm not sure if it will count since I don't think they are considering it actually "laying off"... but we will check into it and see what is possible!

Thank you for your thoughts.

Jax-

Your husband sounds like a man who is handy, those kind are rare breeds nowadays.

Dh is very handy -- he can fix just about anything or make things if he has the proper tools.
