My son is going to be in 3 or 4 sports camps this summer that cost about $1,000 so i am saving that for that (I just don't want to punish him for my lack of control and spending).

"Other than that, we are making it. I am again just worried that the cc companies will raise my rates. Then we will have problems. most of them (like 8) are all balances that were transferred around by using transfer checks. So, I hope the cc companies will honor that contract with the low rates. Although, I have heard that they don't necessarilty have to. That is what I am worried about. "

Check on your CC to see which ones have the balance transfers and make sure you do not use them to charge new things. As the CC company will take your payments off of your lowest balance first, so that your high interest purchase will still sit there earning high interest. I found this out the hard way with one of my cards.

I think you can definitely do it, you're just going to have to make some lifestyle choices to do so.

Send your son to every single solitary sports camp you can manage.
