Hugs,

In Canada I use ufile.ca to do my taxes. It's an online program where you do your taxes online and then pay for the service at the end, after which you download the results and either efile or mail in your return. If you are low income it's totally free. I have always dreaded and hating doing my taxes manually, and I love this website, you just answer the questionnaire and fill in your numbers and it does your return. It also finds the "extras" you can claim that the gov. doesn't do for you if you don't know to apply for them. I of course still have to totally finish mine and efile it, but it is mostly done.

I mention it only because there may be something similar in the USA? I love it because it is cheaper than buying tax software that is only good for one year, and you don't have the junk of the packaging and cd to throw out once you're done. I have no connection to the company I'm mentioning at all and don't benefit by referrals or anything.

Hang in there!
