Anyone ready for April goals?

This will be a tough month for me, financially. DD has her 18th b-day and we're planning to insulate the attic over spring break. My dad offered to pay for the insulation whenever we do it (I guess you're never too old...) but we'll pay the upfront cost. Anyway, here are my goals:

1. Pay for DD's birthday with cash.

2. Set money aside for the kids to take on their trip to France (the trip is paid for already).

3. Don't go overboard on other things at Home Depot when we pick up insulation.

4. Order seeds for the garden (again, don't go overboard!).

5. Rein in my grocery spending which was terrible in March.

List yours!

My goals are pretty simple:

1) Pay down the CC - I was hoping to have it paid off by May 1 but it looks like it may take longer since I now have a car payment that will take up $350 a month

2) Don't use the CC - Pretty self explanatory

3) Don't go hog wild for easter - I have some money set aside for this but will likely need more and I am not entirely sure where that more is coming from, lol.

4) Lose 4 lbs - my goal is one

I just looked up my March goals and I'm THRILLED that I made it! My goal was to be at more than $13,720 in debt paid off in 2009 and I'm at $14,187 PAID! I wanted my flakes to total more than $7,500 and they're currently at $8,056!

We, too, have a birthday party in April. I already have her gift, so it's just a matter of food and decorations and I don't need to go overboard on either. Between that and Easter, however, the flakes will melt a bit. =c)

My goals for April, then, are to get below 77k in debt (currently at $77,947) and to get above $8,600 in flakes (currently at $8,056).

My April goes are:

1. Make an $8,120 payment to my c/c (thank you tax refund!) putting the balance at $9,970. OMG - Under $10,000 on that c/c!!! Amazing.

2. Pay for our Rhode Island/Boston trip in CASH. We have the money in savings to do this.

3. With my DH's overtime snowflake at least $400 to my other c/c.

4. Prepare for summer / spring. Kids need new shoes.

5. Buy grandma's (2) Easter plans for Easter.

April, April, April.........

1. Get together my May 1st snowflake.
2. Get my friend $50 I owe her for some fabulous bedding she sold me.
3. Pay my personal accounting bill, I have about half saved I think but I don't actually have it yet so we will see.
4. Start saving for my middle of April overnight trip to see "Sugar Land" in concert. I am so excited! But not sure I can come up with all the money this month.
5. Pay for down payments on kid's camps.

Oh that sounds like a lot...........

I will try!

You've been a major inspiration this year, Sarah. I'm sure you'll do this!
