Hi...I don't have any experience with payday loans. I just saw that no one had responded yet so I wanted to encourage you to try to keep your spirits up. I have heard about payday loans being predatory and very bad news. I am so sorry you are going through this. You said that you were going through Ch 13. This doesn't erase the payday loan debt? Maybe if you listed your bills, someone might be able to give you some ideas about how you could get some extra money out of your budget. When I first came here, I got a lot of great ideas about how to save money. I switched auto insurance and home insurance and saved 500 dollars for the year. I changed my cell phone plan and saved 50 dollars a month. Little things add up fast.
I would say that the only thing you could do is severely change your current budget. Lower your grocery budget. Don't go out to eat at all. I don't know the particulars of your budget but is there anything you could save money on? List all of your bills and all of your expenses and see if there is anything you could get rid of or save money on. I did this about 4 months ago and I managed to save myself thousands of dollars a year just by changing a few small things.
I'm really sorry to hear about what you are going through... DH and I are/were in a similar situation, payday loans, bankruptcy... Tons of bills and no $$ for food, gas, etc... I don't know how popular this thought is going to be but with our payday loans, I just went in there and said that look, we can't keep doing this anymore, we dont have the $$ to re-advance this.
Thank you for responding.
How long have you been in your plan?
