I love chadwicks.com's clearance section.
Hi Robyn,
You can get amazing deals @ landsend.com-go to the overstocks page, don't shop the regular merchandise. You find the overstocks page by looking at the tabs across the top of the screen - overstocks is to the right of the top of the page.
Their overstocks has been part of my online shopping obsession which I've managed to curb a bit, but I have checked lately and there are lots of great deals on Women's clothes.
I don't work for them so I don't benefit if you shop there. And yes, the thrift stores are always packed these days, and while it used to be mainly lower income people, I notice a lot of typically middle class people. You have to go often and hunt through everything these days, but you can still do well at thrift stores-it does take a lot of effort though.
I have found some great deals shopping on EBay for clothing. My SIL is a regular shopper on EBay for clothing as well.

Thanks very much for the suggestions, ladies!
Robyn:
I just got 3 great-looking tops for work on eBay for less than $20, including shipping. I always type in exactly what I'm looking for, i.e.: JJill small pants. Of course, every time it's different but I check about once a week. The other thing I do is check out the seller's other items. You can very often get a great deal on shipping if you do that because they ship them altogether. The 3 tops are coming from one seller so I saved $8.00 total (can you say "cheap"? I know...I am....).
Other than that, I'd try any brand you like and go to their website's sale section. I never pay full price. If you love it today, put it on a wish list and keep checking back. It'll go on sale before you know it.
Congratulations again. This is a really big deal!!
Dee
Thank you very much!
