High five! You can't beat "free" money!


Maybe instead of leaping toward the goal of putting $100 / month away you can start with $60. Seems like a $10 leap is easier to achieve then a $50 leap.


At least for me smaller amount seem less painful and less missed then large amounts.

A hundred free dollars sounds like a nice windfall on only $600 - a whopping 16%, more than paid in any bank.


We face college in 1.5 years, in fact we know that deposits will be due one year from now if not sooner.
