After yesterday's rant, I'm slightly ahead of the game today.

I am glad you are looking at things with a clearer head and are more calm today.

What is going on with the card with the annual fee? Is that card giving you points or benefits in any way? If not, I would pay that off and get rid of that card. If you have to have an annual fee most times the card isn't worth it. JMO.

Hi,

Have you considered building the emergency fund I mentioned the other day? What a nice bit of money that is freed up. That is great news.

I've been considering an emergency fund for the last 10 years!

How about making a minimum payment on the other card and stash at least $20 - $30 back for the trip or an emergency fund?
