I took it as what's personally been happening financially.......

So in my life:

1 good thing is I am taking control of my finances and learning to be responsible/ debt free!!

1 bad thing is that I don't have a clear cut budget yet (working on it!)

Post and answer however you feel the need! In my financial life:

One good thing - I have our Boston / Rhode Island trip fully funded in CASH. Hotel, rental car, dinner, trinkets to bring home - I have money put aside for all of it.

One bad thing - after this month my DH's overtime is gonna be minimal. We have been VERY fortunate that he's been bringing home over $1,000 per month in overtime. This has helped our budget a lot but he isn't due for overtime in the next few months besides a few hours here and there. Oh well -it was awesome while it lasted !

Good (NO-GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!) --All credit cards are paid off!!!

Bad--Had told myself that I won't do a vacation until all non-mortgage debts are paid in full!! However, I think I am going to teach summer school to fund a vacation this summer. Do you all think that's such a bad thing? That money would be better spent on my debt snowball but I ( and my kids) soooo want a vacation. We have been doing a vacation at Christmas, Spring Break, and at least once during the summer. We have done nothing since last summer so I think I am going to treat us with the money that I earn from summer school. Please help me justify this to myself.

Good - My trip to Boston for next month is completely budgeted for, the money is there in cash, and i will be sticking to that!

Bad - I had to take my kitten to the vet last week and it cost me $325.

I am going to flip it:

Bad thing first - Bills due to the IRS for thousands this week.

Good thing - DH and I had the money to cover it all in cash - Efund is a bit lower, but still over $500 and will be growing again

Hahaha its definately getting more expensive!

The course that I originally signed up for was $630. It was a 24 hour course. I signed up for it on a whim so-to-speak because it was something that I was interested in and could easily do.

After doing the research and taking the first two classes I learned that I LOVE it (I kind of new I would, but I really, really love it!) and that 24 hours is not NEARLY enough time to learn what I would need to know. Ontario is also in the process of regulating the profession so in a
