Slowly starting to see signs...

that the economy is turning around.

As most of you know, I live in Michigan -- a state hit extremely hard by the economy. For MONTHS (maybe even a year...) you didn't see any "Now Hiring" or "Help Wanted" signs at businesses.. no one was hiring. Plain and simple. If you were lucky and got a job, you were patting yourself on the back.

Well, in the last few weeks I've been noticing some "Now Hiring" signs at different businesses in this area. Now, they aren't high paying jobs, but they ARE jobs. I think I've probably seen 8-10 "Now hiring" signs in different windows.

I know it won't fix the economy, but I'm trying to look on the bright side and consider it a positive!

Is anyone else seeing any signs of recovery?

I work for a small construction company in TN that specializes in insurance jobs. (repairing storm damages, leaks from burst pipes, house fires, etc.)

Headlines from Michigan today:

Four advanced automotive battery manufacturers plan to invest about $1.7 billion and create about 6,700 jobs in Michigan as they launch new manufacturing sites in the state.
