Mid-Week Self-Assessment!

So far this week I've done pretty good with my money!

Sunday: Didn't leave the house, no money spent! (Now if I started the week on Saturday that would be a different story all together.. haha)

Monday: Brought my lunch to work, didn't spend any additional money

Tuesday: Was in class and work all day/night... no TIME to spend money! lol

Wednesday (today): I allowed myself to get McDonalds... only because I woke up with hardly any time to make food. I did have time to grab stuff for lunch, though, because it was already in a container in the fridge. I'll have to get gas after work, but that's budgeted.

I'm proud of myself... I've had some idle time where I could have ran to Dollar General or Walmart or something to "browse" and ultimately spend money... but I didn't!

How are you guys doing this week??

Very costly week for us. We needed some last minute stuff for our trip (we leave tomorrow!!!) and my son got a note from school saying he needed a plain white t-shirt to use for a tie-dye project. Had to go buy him a pack and then we tried them on him and they are just fitting. So I have to take those back and buy a bigger size. I'd rather the clothes bit a bit big on him now then fit just so. That way he can make use of his clothes longer. T-shirts on boys are so whatever anyway. Who cares if the Iron Man shirt is a bit big. :)

We leave tomorrow and I won't even go into what money we've spent this week and what we are going to spend the rest of the week. But, tis all budgeted for. :)

So far so good, paid tax on both fed and state returns, IRS just cashed my checked yesterday. All the monthly bills are paid, stuck another $500 in the ROTH IRA; it is now at $2,800, another $2,200 then I am good for this year. This is in addition to the $1,250 being put into my retirement account. Got plenty of food at home, may need a trip to the store for fresh fruits and veggies (organic strawberries are on sale), everything should be under $20.
