When I use the debit card I *always* use it as credit because my bank gives me points for using it as credit.

That reminds me of the day I spent $100 at the grocery store and swiped my debit card to pay.
I own a store and I can tell you for a fact people usually have no idea what they are signing. I have made mistakes before by transposing a number or whatever the reason and found the mistake when I do my cash. I have gone back to people and said I am very sorry this is the mistake I have made and they had no idea and often just tell me to not worry about it. People seem so relaxed about it all?? It really doesn't happen very much anymore. I am grateful to have good staff and am very careful to punch in numbers correctly. I, on the other hand, am extremely aware of what I punch in and sign for because I know budget for things, and I won't have the money for something I need if I don't do it all properly.
I am bad with cash too! Water I tell you, water!
