Hi All,
So I did decide to go with the CCCS to consolidate my bills and lower my monthly payments. I was able to consolidate all of them and lower my payment by $250/month. And I will be paid off in 3 1/2 years not 8 like I thought.
I guess this is the easy way out, and I know I could have done it on my own, but I just gave up.
When I can snowflake on the consolidation I will. Thanks everyone for all of you input and advice. Liz

I don't think that's the easy way out at all.

Going through CCCS isn't the easy way out. I've yet to hear or see an "easy way" out of debt. Getting into debt? EASY! Getting out? No matter how you do it, it won't be easy whether it be through CCCS, snowflaking or even bankruptcy. NONE of it is easy. But, you have to be proud of yourself for knowing things had to change and changing them. Good for you! :0)

I really believe that money management has to be partly based on actual behavior, versus numbers on a page.
