It has been a rocky month for us. First I had an interview with a child that was suppose to start actually this week and they say yes when we met, but never got back to me. Then yesterday we sold the truck so we paid off $6600 of our debt, go us right? Then this week started with interview after interview. Yesterday I had about 5 and picked 1 family that has 2 kids, 15 months and 3 yrs, both nap and will start with me June 1st. Hopefully I will have the contract in my hand here in the next few days. I have 1 more interview today for 2 kids, both girls, 12 months and 3 years, but she wants me to lower my rates and only pay $1000 a month and come full time when with the other 2 part timers i accepted I am making $840 and working 8 days less. Also we sold 2 stingrays which gave us $300 bucks extra, but DH bought some guns for hunting with that (he loves his guns...LOL) I know some of you are thinking tell him to stop, but I made him a deal. He can have no more then 8 guns in the house and hes already at 6...LOL. All in all I am happy. We have decided to do our front yard only this year and our fence. I dont want to do the back yard cause I know in the end it will cost about 10,000 the way I want it and I refuse to put work into something that I will jsut pull up or change next year.
