Well after a few stressful weeks, I have decided to get back to the basics of debt reduction and stick with what works, lol.
The last few weeks have been STRESS! I have a lot of balls in the air right now with no clear end in sight. My roommate is moving out thankfully so that will be a big burden lifted. BF is moving in.
Financially it makes no difference since BF is paying exactly what roomie did.
The last few weeks I haven't been adding to my debt per se (other then the college courses that are going to send it through the roof!) but I have been barely keeping up. A few unexpected bills here and there have really thrown me off.
So I am committing to myself (and my ivillage family) to get back to the basics. CC's out of wallet. Cash system. Whatever I don't spend of my allotted allowance goes into the jar for bigger purchases. Any extras divided between debt and savings. If I work hard at it, I can

Thanks for the wishes ladies. I just updated my CC ticker (I had to put the course payments on it today . . . all I can say is ugh).
I just keep picturing some Scrooge type character sitting in an office reading looking at my CC balance going up and laughing manically to himself. *sigh*
Oh well, just another couple of months. I can do this. Feeling pretty lousy today :(
If only that stupid backpay would show up!

At least you have the back pay coming. This will all turn around in a couple of months. Fingers crossed for ya.
