OK, I have made really good progress so far this year.

My Efund is a bit depleated and around $500 now, but I have paid $8500+ on CCs, and we paid the $3k for taxes in cash as well.

You are doing so wonderful! High five.

It does become ingrained in us to save save save now. Or debt repay debt repay debt repay.

My whole way of thinking is changed and most likely will be forever !

Land's End has women's suits on sale, I believe they have sizes 16/18. You may want to check out their website.

Screw being thin. You have confidence and that means more than a size six. Go and get a new outfit you like and that confidence is just going to beam from you I know it. The car can wait until you drum up some business in your sexy new attire!

I know it is addictive, paying down the debt. Believe me I wanna throw my efund right at the stupid debt! And I might, when I get closer. Its ok to ease up a bit. If you are not going backwards--you are going forwards and in the end that is what really matters. It is hard for us to give ourselves a break from the goals sometimes, but sometimes it has to be done.

And don't you dare add numbers in your head when you are shopping for that suite! I know I would, LOL, but don't you do it!!

there is no doubt in my mind you will do better in these business meetings if you feel comfortable.

What about going through your closet with a friend who's taste you trust(and they will be honest about the clothing). You may discover that you have most of what you need in your closet and will only need to buy a few classic pieces to fill out your wardrobe.

Also I know you said you have trouble finding clothes that fit at consignment stores, have you checked your area to see if they have a consignment store that caters to the plus size woman? I know that in the next town over from me has one and they have wonderful clothing there.

If you are afraid you will overspend when out shopping take a friend who you know will help to keep you in line with your budget.

Remember there are times when you will HAVE to spend. Everyone has things they will need (or even want sometimes) while trying to pay down debt. Not allowing yourself a want now and then, and not buying what you need will make resentment grow.

Go out and look for a couple of very nice dress outfits, but be careful where you shop and watch what you're spending. Look at Kohl's or Dress Barn vs Macy's. :)

Unfortunately, I can't wear Land's end sizes as I am a more full figured woman, I need a fuller cut top.

I found a couple at JCP that look promising.
