I was watching the show last night ON THE MONEY. And they were talking about this web site called MISSING MONEY. COM
So for fun I decided to check it out. I remember years ago they used to list in the newspaper once a year all the little amounts of money people just walked away from in banks and such and then they died or forgot about it. My uncle seem an old maiden aunt's name one year on the list Then my mon and he went somewhere (I was very young)and got a couple of hundred dollars that they split.
Well I did my mom, my dad, Raymond's mom and dad and nothing came up. Then I did my grandmother. There was her name on the list. I don't think it is much money maybe a 1.00 or so. But I am going to try for it. I downloaded the form and the case number. Funny thing is she has been dead for 50 years.
Most likely it will cost more to get all the paper work I will need to even try to claim the money then what is there. But for the fun of it I am going to try worst thing that can happen is that they say I can't have it. And if they do

I got the form but my grandmother died in 1959 I can't remember the date. So I am waiting on the funeral home to call me. my mother was the one that took care of her funeral and she is dead to. I have the date of her death. and my son has her death certificate so that is no problem there. I am waiting for my grandmother's date of death to file out my claim form Man if I have to get everyone birth records that would be a true mess. Being that we are talking about over 50 years.
I will most likely pay more then the account is worth for copies of the death Certificate for all these people
But it is fun trying right. Like buying a lottery ticket.
