I'm sorry you have to undergo the surgery, but based on my experience (visiting nurse, do a lot of wound care), I really feel you're making the right choice!

It is so amazing how much all these medical things cost! It's great though that you have such good insurance. Good Luck with the toe!

I just wanted to add another few words about the cost of medical care.


In 2001 I had three rather serious heart surgeries.

donate it to some group and take off the whole 80,000 off your taxes. You would get more money that way.
