Do you ever have those moments when you just want things?

Oh I hear ya sista!! I want a bunch of things.

To make myself feel better I put up a mirror I had bought at a garage sale and 2 long pictures I got on sale really cheap at a hardware store. I found out why they were so cheap. I took them out of the package and some of the paint around the edges came off with the tape. So I made lemonade out of lemons. I scraped off the paint in some of the other areas on the frame to make it look worn country. I like them better that way, they look awesome!!

I want....... sconces that hold tea lights for my bedroom for the walls, new dish towels for the kitchen, new jeans for work....OH yeah and I would like a whole new house please LOL!

Hey,

Could you have a friend teach you how to drive in their car,pay for the fuel you use while practicing? Treat them to a nice dinner out in exchange?(please don't cook LOL!)How much is it to just take the driver's test?

Are you saving for a car?

That's exactly what I was thinking.

I've asked around, but people seem reticent, so I don't want to push.

Driving lessons are $856 (plus tax).

I'm not planning on purchasing a car immediately, but I'd like to have options i.e. rent a car on occassion.

Kate, I don't know what the license system is like in Canada. However, I would recommend that you don't let your learner's permit lapse. You'll likely regret it when you need it.
