Last weeks vent thread really got a lot out of my system. It made me feel a heck of a lot better to be honest :) Sometimes just getting it out there makes all the difference in the world.

So I thought I would start this week with a thankful thread. Things that I am gratefull for or things that are going well. I want to try and stay more positive this time around ;)

I'll start:

1) I am thankful I have my health. My knee was giving me issues, but I did some intense work with a competent chiropractor who got me back into shape in time to run the 10k! (so I guess I'm also thankful I have a

Ok, I'll bite. Even though it is rainy here, I didn't sleep well, and I have a head ache LOL.

I am thankful for:

1. Healthy kids and myself and bf.(although bf got a wicked sun burn on the weekend, ouch!)

2. My debt is going down and not up. Not going as fast as I would like it too but down none the less. And I have a good rate on my debt too, so I am lucky that way.

3. Weekend sales at the store were ok, and business credit line is under control for the time being.

4. I have wonderful staff at my store.

That is all I can think of at the moment, but its pretty good.

I am thankful for 3 children who have grown up to be mostly responsible adults with education and jobs.
I am thankful for my granddaughter and that I am able to have her with us for an extended visit.
I am thankful that I have a loving husband that is usually on the same page as me with debt repayment.
I am thankful that we bought our house when we did. (8 years ago just before prices went sky high.)

This is a good idea to do a check once in awhile to see that not all is doom and gloom.

OK, I guess I pushed enough buttons in the last thread. (No seriously, I love reading everyone's experience). Now perhaps something a little bit more sedate? I hope Bex does not mind if I try to resurrect this thread.

1. I have my health. Everything checks out fine, except about 8 to 10 lbs. heavier than I like. Have been going to the gym 3 -4 times a week and finally feeling my body budge.

2. I have a job, no much to write home about, but secure and allows me to have everything I need and some of the things I want.

3. My parents are healthy for their age, and happy to see how both their children are doing in life. (I guess other than the grandkid department, I did not disappoint them too badly)! ;-)

4. SO is absolutely wonderful. What more can I ask for?

I'm thankful for more than I could begin to write, but I have to give a special word of thanks for my kids behaving in church today, LOL. They're 10, 8, 5, 3, and 21 months and the whole family had to go before the congregation today so we didn't use the nursery. The entire service there wasn't a peep out of a single one of them, and we had dozens of compliments afterwards.
