We are getting a new dog in two weeks (3 dogs . . . yikes!). This one is an outdoor dog (although I'm sure she will be an indoor/outdoor dog sooner or later, lol). Anyways, it is essential that we get the fence finished and the yard ready.

BF has done some preliminary estimates and it looks like it will cost around $500 for everything. We are going to split the cost. He already has $120 in giftcards (from cashing in his airmiles) so we need $380.

We have a change jar that likely has about $30-40 in it (so lets say $350 needed).

I have to come up with $175! I started looking around the house for old stuff I don't use anymore. I advertised a classic winnie the pooh doll and someone wants it for $20! I sold my old robotic litterbox to a friend for $75. I have a futon for sale and if that sells I will have my portion of the cost without spending anything! If it doesn't I have $50 in my house fund that I can use and will just

I forgot to add that I am also changing some of my "behaviours".

I funded the majority of my efund by transferring over little bits here and there (think $2 here, $3 there). Now that its funded, I am taking those little bits and sending them to the CC. My CC has no limit to how many payments I can make, so even if its a few dollars at a time it ads up. If I can fund a few hundred dollars this way then it should help to pay down the CC!!!

Keeping on keeping on!

Ohhh I wish I had something to sell! It would go right on my loan. I have an air conditioner but I might need it this summer. We have a big one but I don't know if it will make it all the way to the bedrooms so I better hang onto it.

This is the problem I have with the 2 dollars here 3 dollars there. I would like to do it but then I might need the money. I hate not having a little cash on me for milk or something unexpected. I like to have that mini emergency fund and it gets replenished all the time. I know I am broke, but that would make me feel just terrible not being able to grab milk when I needed it.

Anyway. That is awesome you can sell things you don't need for things you do need. And Bex, I am not sure how much I would spend on gardening things, flowers etc. The new dog may decide he likes to dig or what have you. Wait and see.

Happy fence building!

That is how I have been paying things all the time. Each week I try to have a few dollars left on the weeks spending money. Before I add the next week to my quicken I send off what is left to a card.

This week I sent off 15.00 I had 15.35 left. As long as you do it through Bill pay where you have your checking account you can send in as many as you want to send. I have sent in as many as 6 payments in a month to one card. Never had a problem but like I said it was all through bill pay not the credit card's web site.

Keep up the great job
