OK, Abbie actually inspired this topic, but part of it stems from Monday Accountability section where everyone was grumpy.

Post something related to this board that has made you happy today.

Well, since I inspired the topic :)

#1 - Our fitness rebate from blue cross blue shield came in for $150 dollars. It took so long that I figured I didn't get the paperwork in on time and would never see this money, but it came!

#2 - I have a surprise wedding to do in 3 days, which is not ideal timing, but it's an extra hundred dollars and I can't turn that down!

So there's $250 dollars I wasn't expecting. Unfortunately it can't be snowflaked because I need it for bills!

And to add on to that - we're having a big party at a friends house on Friday night. That should be fun and I won't have to spend a dime.

Great topic!

1- Lots of little amounts of money coming in. Yay!
2- Lots of projects finding ME. (A direct contributor to the money coming in, LOL).
3- Everyone is healthy and happy.
4- THE BOAT IS FINISHED! All DH has to do is bolt the new seats down and we're in the water! (Or, rather, on it. "In it" might indicate he didn't do something right, LOL).
5- No cakes this weekend. I know it's extra money, but in the last three weeks I've done 7, 2, then 4. I need a break! Besides, I have plenty of writing to stay busy (and earn money) with!

I am actually very happy today!

I slept really good last night(I hadn't in the past two nights).

I had a good night with my bf and boys last night, walking, biking fixing things and bbq.

My bf had a lunch meeting so the left overs were fair game!

I am earning points with my business visa and I might actually be able to get a retirement investment with (rrsp) in February.

I don't have the kids this weekend so bf and I are having a stay at home date with a movie and some shrimp for supper we have in the freezer(I am looking forward to this!!)

My store insurance check should be in the mail(believe it when I see it but I was told it was)I am hoping this helps my cash flow a bit, even just for a day or two!

I talked to my bank and they said I could add money to my land and building loan as much and as often as I want with out penalty so that is good. It will be still be about 6 weeks before I can start but building back my efund is going well so far.(I'm still hoping I won't have to use it for my store credit line, fingers crossed!)

I am very optomistic today I will be in a better position one day with less stress.(before I am 40 would be fantastic!!!)LOL!

After all these years my husband decided to go back to school and complete his degree. He only has about one year left...full time. He's going to squeeze it in while working full time. It will be extremely tight...but with the new job he will actually be putting in less hours between work and school then he did working under that miserable slave driver!

I applied online for financial aid and low and behold he received a generous Pell Grant. We never could've imagined this! I guess having your finances in the toilet does have some privledges!

I'm getting about 800.00 of overtime money this week on my paycheck

DH has a job this week and will hopefully have $ on Friday too.

My bonus will be on my next paycheck

The bills are current and haven't had to tap emergency fund yet.

Things are holding their own at the moment.

And oh, I 'm on vacation from work next week- will go to the lake and waterpark!

I was mad when I found out I have to fork out an extra $3000 for some of the training I signed up, then I read Sarah's story about the couple trying to make it with $2,000 a month unemployment and NINE kids.
