Helo, just checking in...busy week......

Not much happening with the debt journey...but just one question:

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO SAVE $1000??????????

My efund is not growing.....life keeps happening and sucks the efund money away.

Well, that's it for tonight.......

Have a good night!

Norma,

I used to get irritated when I went over the grocery budget, too, but you know what?

Think positive - at least you have the efund there to allow life to happen to you. We don't want to think what you would have to do if you didn't have your efund in place.

Its so hard to save $1000 because that is a lot of money. I think about all the things I could buy for $10 and my mind swims. Most of it involves food. A gallon of milk is very expensive and in my book that is a need at this stage of game for the kids. Also it seems that emergencies don't cost $10 they cost 400, 500, 600 dollars! It could take me 2 weeks to squirrel away $50, yet emergencies come up every other month. It is hard to get ahead, or see your totals go down with all the unexpected situations that come up. Or it could be that you even planned for a situation and it cost way more than you ever dreamed it would!

Yes, a $1000 is a lot of money, especially when I can usually only save $50 a week.
