Hi everyone,

It has been a few months since I have posted. I hope everyone is doing OK. I will have to catch up on posts after I post. Our life is good and we are very blessed. Our debt is bad. The struggle has been that we are not spending extravagantly but that we both came to our relationship 10 years ago with what

Hey, girl. I think the easiest way to stick to it is to see your progress. It's kind of like losing weight - the first five pounds are the hardest and after that you feel really motivated by watching the number drop. My tickers have helped me tremendously. If you buy little things a lot (coffee, lunch, etc) add up what you think you might spend a week and multiply it by 52 weeks and see what kind of progress you're NOT making in a year by doing it. It's an easy way to see how the little things add up and make a difference.

If the glue works, I need to borrow it. We operate in the red. Our ends aren't on speaking terms. =c)

Coupons, deal on the net are great ways to cut back on the food bill.

Raymond also joined this Erewards thing on line and he gets Ereward bucks for free rentals on movies that helps because we like movies.

Just charging your life style a little at a time and sticking by it. That is the best advice I can give you.

Whatever you pay down give it back to either the bills or the saving account. Don't ever put it in living money.

Sarah,

I went on your blog this morning and read about your christmas spreadsheet. If you are willing, I would looooooove to see a copy of it. I am definitely into quirky things like that. I'm currently working on one that will incorporate all of our (minor) investments to retirement.

Let me know if you don't mind and I'll shoot you my email.

Thanks...samey

No problem! I'll send you a version with some explanation on it so it'll make sense. It's actually easy to use, but with about eight columns for each gift most people just call me nuts and walk off, LOL. E-mail me through my profile.

Hi Michelle!

I've been absent quite a bit too lately, so we're back in this together! Our debt is about to go up due to college expenses for our DD and some additional home improvements. I'm just hoping the car holds out another year!

What has helped me the most is setting up my budget on mint.com. I love that site.

Happy you're back!

Dee
