Someone mentioned Mint.com in a post yesterday and I always wanted to give it a try so I did this morning.

I just came across your post.

I love mint.com!! This past winter, I finally got my budget straightened out and entered into Mint. Since then, things have gone along much better. (Before that, I couldn't figure out where my shortfalls were happening and writing down every penny in and out was way too much for me!).

Only recently (with DD's college in the near future) did I not stick to my budget, but that's my fault. I need to redo my categories.

Hi, Dee.

I've heard of this site but never checked it out.

HI Robyn!

Yes, you do hook up all your accounts but you only enter your online username and password. You never enter the actual account number and it is free.

Recently they added assets as well, so investments, value of automobiles (even without accounts to link to), etc. are included. I love that feature because now I can see my total net worth, rather than focusing so heavily on CC debt. It always appeared that I was in debt for $250,000 or so but that was because my home was included!

Check it out. It really is easy and fun (if you can say that about finances).

Dee,

Thanks for the info; I will take a look at the site today.

As always, it's good to "see" you.
