Something I'm proud of . . .

We seem to be stressed around here the last few days (myself included!) and so I thought I would like to take a break and invite everyone to share one (or more) things that they are proud of. It can be money related or non-money related!

I'll start:

I am proud that:

1) I completed a undergraduate and masters degree on my own (working and loans)

2) By age 26 I had a stable, secure job and was able to buy my own home

3) After years of telling myself that "I'm just not a runner" I have completed one 10k and 2 5k races this year (next 5 k on Saturday!)

4) Even though I've been stalling lately, I have paid off over $9000k worth of CC debt and I am determined to get rid of the rest!

What about you? What are you proud of?

This is a great string but I have to say, Michelle (Smoochdog) and AuntyDoxzz, your posts were amazing.

Thanks so much for the kind words. I have to remind myself (and this thread was a great way!) that my debt is not me. My debt is not my life (although it feels like it is many, many days) and that I am a successful person even if I have made some (often significant)

We went on a mini-vacation this week and didn't put one penny on a credit card. Of course, we're flat-ass broke until next Friday and we'll only be paying just over the minimum on the Citibank card this month, but we did it and we had a fabulous time.
