embroidered pillowcases go from 15.00 to 30.00 a pair and if they are really old and have hand made lace on them as much as 40.00 a pair. Maybe you should start doing them again and sell them.
I went to the foot doctor this morning. He took off the bandages and said it was healing ok. I didn't look at it real good. Open holes in my body don't really turn me on. But he only took off the toe and not any of the foot. Looks a little silly having just 4 toes. But I should be able to wear real shoes still.
Then he pulled out this worm thing out of it. Must have been some kind of drainage tube or something. After I got home I was hurting pretty bad. So I went to bed. This is the first time tonight I have really gotten up to walk. I need to do more of that very slowly.
He said he was willing to work with Humana about the rehad they are offering me. He thinks I can start in a few weeks if all goes well at least for a few minutes on a tread mill or something slow.
Another thing my birth Aunt called me tonight and said the whole family has this little vein problem in their feet and legs. How lucky can you get I know half the brothers and sisters died of some kind of cancer now little veins. What more.
I worked for years to get laws changed where adoptees had the right to at least know their medical history (family history) Now I am not so sure knowing is a good thing.
Anyway I go back in a week for him to change the bandages again. I am back to spit bathes for at least that long or longer. And I still have to wear my boot all the time.
(((Mary Ann))) - I'm glad to hear the surgery went well. I can't imagine what you're going through, but my prayers are for a comfortable recovery for you!

Back in my 20's when I was waitress/cook/dishwasher, etc.....
Thank again for all the kind words.

Hi Mary Ann, I'm a lurker but we've 'talked' before.
Mary Ann, my thoughts are with you as you heal from the toe surgery and as you deal with all else that is on your shoulders right now.
