I am not saying the ladies on the board are perfect but when it comes to finances some times our guys make us sooooo mad! I have noticed there have been a few vents lately so vent away. Care to share solutions anyone? I'll start.
My bf has no idea what is in our accounts. He does not know which things come out when. He is blissfully ignorant of all things money. And hello, just because you check and the balance says we have 1500 bucks in there doesn't mean that the mortgage, house insurance, car insurance and groceries don't have to come out of that. Jeeeezzzzz. I feel like I have a third child sometimes.
He really is a good guy, I'm Just venting.

Before our bankruptcy, DH ignored everything I tried to tell him.

I hear ya sister. BF and I have separate finances (and will until we get married) but boy oh boy does he do the ostrich well. All he has to pay is rent, car, coach's fees, cell phone and car insurance and yet somehow he has managed to max out his CC (we make the same amount of money btw).
Oh well. We are thinking of moving to a place further out of the city in a couple years. My house currently has about $100,000.00 equity in it and I'm not selling. If he wants his dream house, then the two of us together can save a downpayment. I will rent this house out and use it as an investment. I've already told him I will start saving my half and he can save his, but so far nothing. I figure if he wants it badly enough then he will save!
