DH self employment = debt increase

DH has been self employed for over a year, but mainly working for one company. During that time, we managed to cut our debt in half. I was getting very excited, we were able to take small non extravagant vacations, etc. About 2 months ago, the company decided to stop using all outside contractors, so basically DH is out of a job. He has a few smaller companies he still works with, but they are only giving him jobs that are smaller, resulting in

Go and have a good time. The bulk of it has already been paid for. The break might be just what DH needs to keep him going in these tough times, and you might get decent deals on all kinds of things. People just aren't buying much these days. Maybe it would be helpful to discuss your travel budget before you go. Yes, you have to charge, but you can determine roughly how much you'll charge.

My DH used to work as a contractor, he made a lot more money then!
