Hi Kellie, Good for you for catching it so early. You are right -- it's easier to fix if the charges are still "pending". The same thing happened to us -- I wondered how it could have happened. The bank said that hackers routinely run random credit card numbers and expiration dates -- said they could tell that the charges were made on-line and not in person. They blocked everything and issued us new cards. Unnerving tho -- all the more reason to check every morning. Megan

I check mine at least weekly, but sometimes more if I'm in obsessive compulsive mode.... which I get when I'm waiting for payment from a client.
This happened with my ex's debit card once... a small charge was taken out for a merchant I didn't recognize.
