I was just thinking about the fireworks the other night. The neighbors are usually notorious for letting the kids light off bottlerockets and little firecrackers but haven't heard anything this year either. I have been in a little rut myself, but I do have to say I remodeled my batheroom (our ceiling fell in,so we had no choice), but it is a completed room, now we are painting the kitchen..paint does a lot and it doesn't cost much. FYI, found a website that has some good deal....graveyardmall.com Happy 4th everyone, and remember every penny helps!
Its ok that you are not making progress. I mean, its not great....but you are not getting further in debt right? That would be way more frustrating. I have told myself that in July I could relax a little. I had some gifts to buy and summer things to do so getting my efund up may take a little longer than I had hoped. Finding that balance between life and debt repayment will always be a challenge.
Plus I sometimes I think about the people who have no idea how much debt they are in now or do know but are scared to add it up and own up to it. They have not come to the stage where we are now, a debt journey we are committed to. And yes it has its phases--where it goes down really fast, goes up a bit maybe, or stalls?? But it is a journey and we will see where it takes us.

Keep at it. You are doing fine.
