Need a break

I just looked again at my August schedule and I am crossing my eyes. I try to work when I don't have my kids but this is ridiculous. My kids are going to camp for a week(in August) and then my Ex has them for a little over a week. So in my infinite wisdom I have booked myself to work 17 days in a row. I am on my 14th day in row (out of 16) for my July stint and I am burning out.
Its a good thing my bf has mentioned us getting away for a couple nights some time soon. I am super cranky today and need a nap. We do have a few hundred dollars in our change vacation fund so this might be a good time to use it. I don't even care what we do as long as we get away and spend some time together.
I am trying to work as much as possible to save on salaries and pay my debts down faster but it is so hard sometimes.
Just having a bad day with it all and needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

Oh my goodness!! Thats too many days in a row to work! You DO need a break!
Take that change jar and go away for a few days, sans kids and sans stress.
Saving the salaries for a few days is NOT worth burn out!

Yes, that is a lot.
I agree with the PPs...you deserve a break and should get away from it all!
I hope you reconsider your August schedule.
I hear you on this! The baby is going through a rough patch right now - she is crawling and very, very needy. Is only happy if she is being held at all times and cries when I leave the room. She also has started big tantrums at nap and bed time. On top of that, I have to take care of the house and yard, the puppy, and have a pretty demanding job that is going to get way more demanding with a new contract that I just won. I had a mini meltdown yesterday and the family is pitching in to help now. Going so long with no break from the baby and working so hard in the office and at home has taken its toll and I am ready to drop out of life, lol. My dad gave me a break last night, my cousin is taking her tonight, my dad will be back tomorrow, my sister takes her next Saturday and my MIL takes her next Sunday. These few hours off each weekend are as close to a vacation as I'll be getting but I am certainly looking forward to it!!
I agree with everyone here though - take care of yourself. Working so hard so long will leave you open to getting any flu/cold bug that comes along.
