It's been about a week since I've joined the board and I've been tracking my spending this week like a hawk!

Yes, the thing is I really hate cooking, so it always ends up being microwave meals which I know aren't the healthiest.

I'm assuming that even disliking cooking, you still prepare dinners most nights. If you do this, just increase the number of servings that the evening meal will make. If you serve up one of the servings into a container before serving the meal up, then you have a lunch for the next day.

We eat a lot of pasta with sauce and meatballs, great for leftovers. We also do a lot of stir fry meals, with rice - those are done in less than 20 minutes, just keep some chicken breast on hand, and pick up veggies like little cans of mini-corn, along with fresh veggies you like and saute them. Not difficult, custom-made to taste, and fast.

You have taken a great big step in starting to track your spending, you can do this, and coming here for support really can help you stay on track and overcome obstacles by entertaining new ideas. A habit is made by practice then it will become natural.
