Just need to vent

And not really about money this time! My money situation is slowly, slowly, ever so slowly coming around. Besides my not eating out goals this month, I also have a goal to get my mortgage back on track. I haven't paid it on time in 3 months! I haven't spent much money this month except on bills and groceries. It's still early in the month though! And we did break down and get pizza last night but I had another flood situation with my washer and I was exhausted! I'm still proud of myself for not eating out for more than a week! That's huge for us!

On to my vent!
Doing laundry for 5 people without a washer is so much work! I had my laundry situation fully under control before my washer broke. I did 2 loads everyday and that kept me on track. Now I try to do a load whenever we go to Dh's parents house, but mostly I have to go to the laundry mat and spend 20 dollars and do bags and bags of laundry. I'm feeling particularly exhausted this morning and I have no idea why. My house is a disaster and I don't have the energy to clean it! I also have a fruit fly problem that has gotten out of control. Thanks in part to DH who put mango peels in the bathroom trash!

I'm just feeling tired and I have so much to do! We're going to a lake tomorrow with family and friends. That should be fun at least!

You gave me some good ideas with your craigslist plan. I think I need to think out of the box a little. It doesn't help that the summer affects my piano lessons so much. I haven't had one lesson in 3 weeks and that's $600 dollars that I lost. So I definitely need to think about supplementing my income a little. We already sold a lot of our gold.

Sorry my reply is so dis-jointed but I'm in a big hurry. DH's family is going to the beach tomorrow and taking us with them so we're staying at their house tonight and I have a ton of stuff to do and DH is telling me we need to leave now! Eek!

check on Craigs list and cheapcycle if you have one where you live and even freecycle Maybe you can find a washer on there. I gave an old lady my washer and a almost new dryer on freecycle. Because I bought my birthmother washer and dryer from her estate and I liked it better.

I would also check some used washer and dryer places Last house we lived in I bought a set from this guy for like 75.00

Cheaper then the laundry mate.

I agree with Mary Ann. You can get a used washer for cheap. It would be so worth it for you Abby and cheaper in the long run.

I hope you can get caught up on your mortgage too. These two things will make life a lot less stressful for ya.

Good luck!

But here's my problem as far as getting a new washer goes. This is a 4 year old Maytag that cost me $1800 dollars! I shouldn't have to get a new washer already! I think there is some kind of sensor or computer chip that is off. I'll probably need a few hundred to fix it and I just don't have it at the moment. But I'd like to get it fixed just because it's such a nice washer.
