In a few weeks, many families will be getting ready for the kids to start back in school.

I am working this weekend.....Boo but I am working on a plan to get next weekend off and perhaps go away for a couple nights. We have money in our vacation jar that will cover it. However, my bf is going to Costco today. I always get scared when he goes there. We do need meat pretty badly though as we are out of everything. So it is probably better I don't go with him to avoid the anxiety attack except for the small one I know I will have when I see the bill! In truth though, I have been so busy I have not spent much on groceries in the past two weeks. I took the kids out to eat a couple nights this week because of time crunch issues with swimming lessons(all planned) and to give them a bit of treat for summer. So it will be nice to get back to the bbq and cooking. I made the most fabulous chicken/mushroom fetticine(sp?) last night and I will have some of the left overs for supper tonight at work.

So for us, a big Costco expense. We do this every six weeks but I still have trouble rationalizing it. I probably need to get over it as it is in our budget.

Have a great weekend every one!

We were away for the weekend, but spent less than I'd anticipated (thanks to the weather).

I was just going to say I went school supply shopping and that was cha-ching.

It was a lot but on the other hand if I break it down between 4 kids -- it really isn't *that* bad is it?

I spent about $200 at Target for school supplies.
