Can I just say I'm sooo not looking forward to this stuff.........LOL.
My DD is only 10, but I can't even afford to have her in any lessons right now (she wants to take ballet and piano) so I can't even imagine how hard it's going to be once all the high school fees kick in.
OMG, all I can say is I'm glad I had a boy and his senior year was 2000 and everything was cheaper then.

I don't remember how much my school pics were. It was just through the school though with cap and gown shot. They were likely $100 but that was a looooooong time ago! LOL!
I am sure this not the quality you are looking for......I got 30 pics of one pose of my boys together(smiling!!!) at Walmart for $7.99cnd. This info might be helpful to others. I have their regular single school photos but had to get their passport photos done so I thought why not? Then I can give the bigger ones as gifts to family and have the 8x10 for myself. I actually can't wait to pick them up towards the end of August.
I know it is expensive but it sounds worth it so don't worry. We need to have less spending anxiety on things we want too. We deserve it for our hard work. The pics will be there forever at a very special time in your special girl's life.
I graduated highschool in 2000, University in 2004 and Grad school in 2007. All I bought were my highschool pics. They had them done at the school for the

"Sitting Fee" for DS was $40.00.
would they put them onto a disc for you to take home to confer with your mom and DH? $600 sounds like an awful lot of $$ for pictures. What if you were to just pick out a couple for your Mom and your family. And take some photos of your own to have prints done for others that you need to send them too?
We did that for our wedding, we just bought a few of the professional photos and had a friend take some other photos that we sent to family.

Connor will be a senior next year and this is exactly why he won't be getting special photos taken.
Dear Marie,
I used to handle senior portrait sittings for my college...a long time ago, but perhaps I can give you and others some ideas.....
The proofs were considered property of the studio, not yours, so that's why they had to be returned after viewing them.
