I'm not dealing with it now but will be in a couple years.

Carolyn is doing a pageant over Labor Day weekend.

This probably won't help you out much since your DD is already a senior but for those with younger kids in high school it might be worth looking into. I work part-time for a photography studio and they seek out high school juniors to be models or ambassadors for the studio for their senior year. If selected these kids get certain perks (such as free sittings and more outfit changes)and discounts in return for their image being used in advertising to fellow seniors. At the studio I work at those selected need to turn in an address list for all the people in his/her graduating class and serve as the studio's ambassador for their particular school by showing copies of pictures and basic word-of-mouth mentioning the studio to their friends and classmates. Might be worth checking with several studios to see what they offer. Could be a good way to cut costs and still have the senior pictures.

I need the wallets for gradution party invitations later in the year, so that would be fine for me.

Well the photos that were taken are really amazing quality - no school photo or my photos can ever compare.

Thanks for reminding me about the letter jacket and I will be sure she takes it as she has been on varsity sports since her freshman year.

My DD graduated in 2008. Everyone had to use the same photographer, but could pick different packages. We went with

I got both kids their class rings this year and it was a little over $600, as I did not get the white gold.

We can use alternate photographers, but they are held to a school standard, we are blue background, shoulders only, tops must have sleeves, due on October xx, date, etc.

How it works is we pay $495 to take posession of the proofs (which number over 50) and then that $495 is applied to the photos we select.

Good points about the ambassador program, in fact they wished they had DD come in earlier as they have been so happy with her photos.
