Things are really looking up for us, BUT, we are facing a difficult time financially for the next 30 days.

DH's last day for his present job is tomorrow.

Hi Norma,

Try to keep smiling. I know this is a rough patch, but things will look up soon!

Make sure that DH stays on the old company to get what is owed to him for that last check! Will it be enough to cover the mortgage? Just think how much easier your life will be with a steady paycheck coming in! You will be able to get those savings up in a heartbeat!

I am guessin this means he has a few weeks off to just relax. Enjoy

Lord girlfriend

I think it is that time of year. Vet bills are killing me to, Toner went out on the printer that was another 130.00 I do thank the Lord everyday unless the state and the feds go broke at the same time we will have money. I just did the bills for the month. It breaks my heart that I can not snowflake this month more then a few dollars. Under 100.00 for the month.

The whole gang is coming Friday night and that means more food, beer and stuff and I am going into the month (because of the 5 weeks) in the hole besides. Hopefully this will be the last bad month.

These bumps in the road is what tries our patience.

I have always hated the fact that when you have time to enjoy time off, you don't have the money. You have time to do home renovations but not the money to purchase the supplies to do so! You have time to enjoy each other's company but you also have money worries because of the break in pay. It is just not fair I say!! You might have to include mind over matter in this area. Enjoy your time together anyway!! Nice home cooked dinners with candles and try to relax(sleep in etc.)

I wish you luck and I agree with Bex. Keep on that old company to get everything you deserve! I don't doubt they will try to not pay up but if DH is not working there anymore it is ok to threaten them with reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. They just sound awful!

I hope the horse makes a recovery.

I think September is going to go much better for you Norma.

I was just thinking of some ways you could get some extra funds - how about selling something on Ebay or books on Amazon?

I hear ya girl. I keep giving myself the analogy of treading water. If I can just tread water for the next couple of months...I won't necessarily get anywhere...but I will keep from drowning. You just need to make it through the next couple of weeks. Maybe your husband can help you out by picking the garden and blueberry bushes. If you can freeze them now...you'll really appreciate them this winter.

You're a strong woman...you've gotten through tougher times. Your horse is in my prayers as well.
