About once a month I'll use some of my "blow" money on a pedicure.

Great job Robyn! I did this a while ago and I found that I can do almost as good a job and no one notices. Now I go in once a year (right before sandle season) and they do the professional job. I can maintain myself throughout the year for the cost of

Bex and Robin:

I have all the stuff. I have the all the tools, several polishes, the foot bath, all the lotions and creams. I just did a pedi for one of my friends and i have done it for years. I am sitting here in need of pedi and I am too lazy to do it myself for myself. I worked 12 hours yesterday and I working 12 hours today, and 4 tomorrow. The last think I am going to feel like doing is giving myself a pedi.

But, you two have given me the kick in the butt I need. I have all the stuff so I should make the effort. I was going to book an appointment to go get it done on Monday but now I will do it myself. Maybe I will make it fun with a glass of wine and bubbles as a bath first. Now....just to decide what color to paint the little piggies??

That's great, Lila.

I had toyed with the snowflake idea, but since this is part of my blow money I knew that DH would be upset if I flaked it.

Good show Robyn! You will have more control over the amount of bacteria you will be expose to doing your own nails besides saving money.

Here's to your happy, healthy, pretty toes!

Good observation about the bacteria, Audrey.

I do mine myself and my colors vary by season. Spring is pink, summer is orange and fall is burgundy. I just switched to burgundy this weekend because it was only 50 degrees!

Been the coldest July and August on record in MI, therefore I do not believe in the whole global warming stuff.

Here's something wild:

An Indian coworker/friend at work took me with her to get our eyebrows threaded (my first time) during a lunch break. My brows looked AWESOME, much better than any time when I had been waxed (less pain and once I was burned with wax).

It was 14 bucks each time so I learned how to thread my own eyebrows, using a dollar spool of thread and instructions on youtube.

I'm saving 30 bucks a month, babyyyyyy!

:)
