I haven't posted in awhile, though I've been lurking.

Hey Jax,

I was wondering how you were doing. Sorry to hear the slow times are coming. Sales at my store are starting to slow as well and I am not looking forward to January and February.

Have you looked for other work or tried to get two part time jobs to make a full one? Is the economy improving where you are by now? What about babysitting for a working mom? Could be time to look again.

I know sometimes DHs just don't get it. It might take sending him to the grocery store with $50 and tell him you both have to eat off that for a week because things are so tight. What about him taking over the finances?

Sometimes I really hate boys and their toys. You are not the only person on the board with this problem.

We will support you. Vent away anytime!

Jax -

Just an idea, but is there a Financial Peace University anywhere nearby you can attend with your DH?

Where I live jobs are scarce, especially for the next 6 months.

I am doing everything I can possibly do to avoid a bk.

No, there's nothing like that anywhere less than 4 hours away.
