I was driving my rapidly aging car last night, as I always do, week after week, 600 miles a week.

Isn't it nice to stress less about something in your own mind?? I love it when this happens!

I had the same exact thing happen to me the other day! The only difference is that my car has already died. And here I am stressing about how I'm going to be able to afford a new car. Not new really, but I was planning on buying a used car that cost me about 7-8 thousand. I would have had to take out a loan and pay high interest, I'm sure, because of my poor credit. Then a thought just popped into my head. Why should I buy a nicer used car? Why couldn't I buy a 2 thousand dollar used car, that I could save up for? One that is more reliable, hopefully! I'll save $200 dollars a month, just like I was paying a car payment, only pay it to myself and when my next car dies, I'll buy a better one with the money I've saved and so on and so forth. I'll never pay interest again. Isn't this a Dave Ramsey idea? I just don't want to be swindled by another car dealer! I don't need anything fancy, just a car that runs and fits my family. I'll save on insurance as well. Anyway - that's my new plan for my car.

Sure sounds like Dave Ramsey!
