My house is the end unit of a townhouse. As some of you may remember, I started a fencing project with a friend of mine this year, and hit every snag possible. My friend moved away, and I couldn't finish myself. The part of the fence that faces my attached neighbours was partially done. It needed another panel and a gate but we hit a rock and had to get a backhoe in there to clear it out.
Anyways, the neighbour came over and not too politely asked if it was going to get finished this year. I guess I can see his point to a certain degree . . . but he's not paying for any of it! Its on MY property (I didn't want to risk property line issues so I brought it over to my side by about 4 inches!!!). Anyways, for the sake of neighbourhood unity, I had to hire someone to come finish it. He also fixed some other parts of the fence and deck that needed some work. Still, it came to about $500. Good thing the efund is there!
So, now I go back to rebuilding it. Egads!

I double that!

Ugly or not, the gate and fence serve a purpose, for keeping in dogs and privacy. $500 well spent. Its not like you went on a shopping spree. I know it kicks you in the pants when you constantly have to rebuild the efund but keep going Bex, you will get there.
" ...when you constantly have to rebuild the efund but keep going Bex, you will get there".
Just want to add the purpose of the efund is to take care of those little emergencies and to prevent you from charging. It is expected to be drawn down and rebuilt all then time, as supposed to long-term saving.
So you are doing great!
