So it seems everyone on this board is grumpy about finances, down in the dumps and wants to lose weight. LOL!

And Marie ski, health concerns?? Whats up??

The fall kicked the crap out of us financially(October is seems has been especially bad for everyone?) and now we are all going into the holidays with poor attitudes. That is so sad.....

The weather has turned colder and I don't feel like walking outside, plus it is getting darker earlier booo. Thus the weight gain begins...

So what are your suggestions to mend all of the above?

I started taking my vitamins this morning. I love how Vitamin B tends to give me a boost! There are 3 things that noticeably affect my mood. Nutrition, sunlight and exercise. We joined a gym. $10 dollars a month plus my insurance will reimburse me half of the yearly costs! I've been going consistently for 4 days now and just doing 30 minutes on a machine. I've also started considering eating for my mood. I need better nutrition if purely to help me maintain my happiness! I always feel better when I eat better. I'm waiting for my mood to lift...waiting...waiting...

I am tired due to all the work and travel, but only one more class to teach on Monday, and by November I will be down to a normal human schedule.

September was the kicker - house taxes, BTS, DD's fees for everything, homecoming!

I had a female appt the other day, they noted a lump and some other issues.

October has been difficult for us because my son had to have unexpected surgery. It wasn't planned so major co-payments for specialist and such all at once.

His birthday is tomorrow but I'm feeling somewhat good about the finances right now. Everything is paid and there is a small amount of wiggle room, even with the extra expenses.

Don't know what will happen in the next few months......it's scary.

I find it VERY frustrating that we need to FIND the energy to exercise because then we get energy back!!

Well, I am suprisingly hopeful so far this year. Even though my efund got decimated, my dishwasher leaks (PS - the repair guy sent by the company came and said that the problem is we're missing a part, so its on order) oh and now the tap under the sink that turns the water on and off to the dishwasher also leaks!!! Luckily I caught it right away (I went down to the basement and noticed water coming in through!!! I was able to get up there and dry it out without any noticable damage.) Cost for repairs thus far has dropped the efund to $370. *sigh*. I am going to spend the weekend attempting to replace the washers and *hope and pray* that is the problem. Otherwise I don't know what I'll do. My neighbour does stuff for me for free, but I hate bugging him. He's so busy.

BF is going to help tonight to clean out the basement so that we can get the old bathtub down there and I can start doing some minor dog grooming (mostly baths and nails at this point). Christmas is the busy time for dog grooming so I am hoping that I can a few dogs in and make some money for bills. Again, hopeful.

As for the crappy weather, my sister has SAD and her insurance paid for one of those UV light machines. It is supposed to help when the weather turns and the days are shorter. I may start using it once a day for a half hour or so (maybe when I am reading). Apparently it

Grumpy around here too, I still have my baby granddaughter here (who I love to have around) but her parents are not helping with her expenses.(they live in another province) so that is at minimum an extra $900 a month for her daycare and formula and diapers.

Dumpy - weather is getting me down as I have RA (arthritis)and I always hurt more when it is cold.
Norma you could try a website that is free to use to help with healthy eating and weight loss. email me at ileeas at gmail dot com. as I don't think I can put the link on here.

Lumpy - just feel like my life is getting all the lumps right now. I know it isn't but that's just me for now.
