Happy weekend everyone !!!!
What expenses does everyone have for this upcoming fall weekend? What fun plans/activities?
Anyone visiting a pumpkin patch?
What's the weather like from where you are posting?

My DH has vacation after next week and if the weather improves we'd like to take the kids to a pumpkin patch but in Chicago its a cold 45 degrees so unless it warms up a bit that's not gonna happen. No need to risk the flu just to pick pumpkins.
Our weekend plans include:
Fri - my mom invited us to dinner. Yeah. She said she doesn't see the kids much since my son started kindergarten but since he is 1/2 day its hard to drive to her house and visit for any decent amount of time before I have to rush back to get my son off the bus. Anyway - she will pay for dinner (thanks mom!). DH is going to a party at his brothers apartment. I worked the last two nights and have logged about 4 hours per night so I am going to crash early when the kids go to bed.
Sat - DH off. No plans that I can think of.
Sun - DH off. We are invited to a kids jumpy party and I bought a gift already - $20.
That's all for us. :)
It's definitely COLD here.

I need to buy a new ice scraper for dh's car. It's snowing here this morning.
It's also ds's 16th bday today so food for 9 people for his birthday dinner. (about $50).
Prints for my reference file $10.

Nothing too exciting over here. Saturday I have a makeup fitness class (I missed a bunch) and am going to price out fireplaces. I need to replace mine and I want to know how much it will cost so I can start saving for it. Other then that, some carpet cleaning, perhaps swimming and taking the dogs out. BF is working all day and all night so I don't have to worry about him!
Sunday my girlfriend is coming over and we are going to make some Christmas cards. Then all of us (her, me, our two bf's and my sister) are going

I think I've given up on trying to anticipate weekend expenses.
Funny, my bf and I are probably going to tackle the basement this weekend too!
Saturday might be an expensive day....I need to get outdoor gear for my boys. One set of boots, two parkas, good gloves, and I'm not sure on hats yet. I also need liners for my boots. But the problem is my oldest is the size of an adult and his will be expensive. They are both so hard on that stuff! Well, we will see what I come up with.
Plus....they will want to go for lunch for fast food I just know it. I am so tired of saying no to them I might give in. I wonder if I have any coupons at home?? For dinner I would like to make a stew. Oh I hope I remember to take that stew meat out tonight! I am also attempting to make my own bread crumbs. I have the bread ripped up and drying right now. That would be big time saver for me to not have to crush up crackers during the week. I will just make a big batch and throw it in a container in the freezer and take out how much I think I will need. Not a bad thing to do with bread you were going to throw out anyway right?
Sunday I have to work so hopefully not too much money spent that day!
Have a great weekend everyone!
I need to do some grocery shopping, don't want to but we're running out of some things.
