Our very expensive surprise

In August of 2007, the day after having our fifth and final child, I had a tubal ligation. We kind of figured that settled it, but last week - just 25 months after the surgery - we found out that we are expecting baby #6! We had to make sure it wasn't ectopic and then wanted to wait for a heartbeat. I had an ultrasound last night and it was still too early for the heartbeat but there's a fetal pole and development looks perfectly normal. Looks like #6 is on the way! DH and I can't do anything but laugh. =c)
We have insurance but I'll have the maternity copay to contend with, and then all the expenses that follow with having another baby. WOW! But one of my clients has a store that sells thousands of baby items and he told me I could have anything I needed at cost (which is a savings of about 60% - I can see the numbers when I working in their admin system). I've gotten rid of some of the bigger, bulkier items so that's so awesome of him.
We are just amazed and so, so blessed!

I ran over to the Tons of Kids board when you hinted at this last week because I am too much a busy body to wait for you to post. :) So happy to hear all is well with you and baby #6.
I had my tubes tied about 2 1/2 years ago so I admit this story is freaking me out a little!!! LOL.
Congrats to your family.
